If someone repeatedly crosses boundaries, behaves aggressively, violates laws, or disregards other people’s rights, pursuing peace at any cost can empower the person who is clearly in the wrong. Sometimes standing up for what is right is not about ego — it is about dignity, boundaries, and responsibility.
