اin my point of view first step is recognising the cycle of Darvo.i mean you have to know offender draw you into her/ his game and you should not let them to do this. I mean when denial start, it give you clear signs that talking with this person is useless.if u continue at the end u lose more ur peace

What do we do when this happens? “We can discuss my tone later. Right now, I’m asking about what happened.” - this never works. The reaction is absolute dismissal or aggression

You explained a senario between a victim and a offender beautifully. The point is most of the time offenders dont accept they did wrong or their behaviors or actions harm opposit person. Because of that in therapeutic atmosphere, we as a therapist dont ask victim (called it client) to confront directly with offender. Maybe victims harm more and as you said Darvo happen.the real patient in this senario is offender. unfortunately they are unaware about their problem and can manipulate you easily. We teach clients to recognise this game and stop
