Have seen this play out a lot in corporate world - overt signs include over confidence to hide the inner fears; display perfectionism in their life setting (family / kids / lifestyle); inability to embrace team beyond their reporting line. Despite many leadership or self-realisation courses they go through, the armour is too strong to penetrate to uncover the honesty and hence the dance of false self carries on!!
