This article hit home when it comes to mass shootings that have become all too common in our society. Educators….Parents…..In understanding these behaviors as potential warning signs before an act is committed.

Dehumanization has eaten deep into the society , this article really opened my eyes to the basis of most systems like hierarchy race , patriarchy and the rest

Human beings cannot live without symbolic systems, but these systems inevitably warp perception and enable violence. The only ethical stance is to treat all meaning structures as provisional, resist their sacralisation, and prioritise harm-reduction over truth-purity.

I find myself shutting social media down sometimes because the comment sections are full of hate. People start to believe that this behavior is acceptable because the person behind the screen no longer feels like a real person, but just a concept. I feel this culture of hate has grown much more intense. Comment sections can become highly toxic and that online hate can be amplified by social validation and dehumanization. It hurts my souls so much.
