Is it just me or do people seem inclined to believe everything AI tells them?

The real danger isn't that AI can imitate empathy. It's that we may start confusing being understood with being cared for.

AI can listen without judgment, but it doesn't actually share the human stakes of what we're going through. And when something feels therapeutic, the distinction becomes dangerously easy to forget.

Iam agree with u.I think AI can't be helpful like a therapist. I have a experience with AI about translation some text English to farsi. Everytime AI told me this is the best translation that I did. Again wherever I told Ai it's better we translat this part like this or change it ,AI told me yes, yes, ur translation is better. I want to say AI always want to agree with you and dont show disagreement.

, but in therapy setting, a real therapist only validate ur feelings ur emotions not ur thoughts or beliefs of course through a empathise way. Clients need to face ur problems also otherwise they dont change. I as a therapist believe that counsulting with AI sometimes mislead us and maybe by validating all our malbehaviors or misunderstanding make our problems more complex.

you also need to make the AI model stop telling you that it knows how you feel because it doesn't have any way to know how you feel about anything and telling it to stop the pretending to feel it would be more helpful if it would be more helpful finding positive possible scenario's for life quality improvement for your own given situation.

Give it a fortnight and you know which wording produces which answer. After that the question you actually came with never gets typed, and what comes back is what you walked in with, arranged better. It happens in rooms with people in them too. Somebody works out what their therapist approves of and then spends two years being approved of.
